Who to sell to?
Hey guys, I'm not necessarily new but I don't know too much either. I'm gonna take advantage of the august lows and it will be my first time buying online, probably from apmex.
With 2k, I'm thinking of getting 2 oz of gold and change in silver. I'm not really supposed to play with that 2k since it's cash given to me by my aunt but I will replace it with school financial aid money once it comes in late september & I also work so it can be replaced. I was wondering though, if/when things get bad, who do I sell my coins to? I've read some FerFAL and he has "currency dealers"...but how do I sell physical PM coins to regular people? Will coin shops pay whatever the current value is at the time? Will e-bay be a good place to sell? Can I sell back to apmex and other online shops for current values? EDIT: I think this is also a good basic question for newbies to receive an answer to since right now we have 130ish members and 280ish guests looking around to see whether we are all crazy or not. |

Re: Who to sell to?
Ampex has built a rock solid rep........... it would be wise to estabilsh a working line with them before a lockup occurs.
And if you every sell to a local shop......... THEY WONT PAY ANYTHING NEAR SPOT expect a 150 haircut at the minimum Only use them it you want to have no paper trail whatsoever. T |
